Samuli Taskila

Described as an optimist, entrepreneur and a lawyer, Samuli has an interesting background. During his early studies, Samuli worked in a local law firm, specialising in insolvency law as well as business law. When finalizing his studies, Samuli founded an insect food company, which is currently one of the leading insect food companies in the Nordics. Start-up world taught him a lot about the real business world, and Samuli familiarized himself with financing rounds, shareholder agreements as well as company´s day-to-day activities and contracts.

After working intensively with insects for almost 4 years, Samuli moved on to work for Heikkilä & Co Oy. Samuli will be helping our clients with insolvency related matters, such as corporate restructurings and bankruptcies. On top of that, Samuli will be responsible for our start-up -practices, and he´ll help our start-up clients for example with financing rounds, due diligences and shareholder agreements.

While not working, Samuli does irrational things such as ice swimming, hunting, marathon running and hiking. He´s a binge reader of good (and not so good) books and his two children will also keep him occupied. Samuli is also an investor and counsellor in several companies, which include a kid´s clothing company, peer-to-peer tool rental company as well as a painting business.

Samuli´s mission is to make lawyers more easily approachable. Samuli promises to solve our client´s problems with a holistic view, which will include a comprehensive legal solution combined with a sharp business acumen.
